Welcome!

I’m Esther Briz Zamorano — a passionate learner, dedicated athlete, and proud Spaniard from Zaragoza. My journey took me from the banks of the Ebro River to the shores of California, where I studied Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University while competing for the rowing team.

After graduating, I returned home with a clear goal: to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. In August 2024, that dream came true when I earned an Olympic Diploma — a moment that marked both the culmination of years of hard work and the beginning of a new chapter.

Next year I’ll be starting my MBA at the University of Oxford — ready to dive into new challenges, grow as a leader, and keep pushing the limits of what’s possible.

Decide|Commit|Succeed
Two opportunities where I embraced this:

-
Decided I was going to do a 10-week internship with Amazon and race at europeans, that were to be held two weeks afterwards

-
Committed to a full-time job (40-45h/wk) while working out completely alone for 10 weeks

-
Succeed: finished the internship, learned substantially, earned a 4th position at European u23 championships, coastal rowing world champion
-
Decided I was going to go to the USA to study in college at the beginning of my senior year in high school

-
Committed to prepare exams and applications independently on a time crunch while following a normal practice schedule

-
Succeed: got into Stanford, won a gold medal at the European rowing junior championships a couple of months later
