"Stand up for what you believe in, do what you think is right, be prepared to suffer the consequences, but don’t be pushed around when you know in your heart of hearts, that’s the wrong thing to do"

John J. Mack

WHO

I grew up in Zaragoza, Spain, in a family that encouraged curiosity and ambition. I was always drawn to movement and challenge, and when I discovered rowing at ten, it immediately became something that made sense to me in a way nothing else had.

The sport shaped me in quiet but powerful ways. It taught me to be patient with progress, stay grounded through difficulty, and rely on the habits that make consistency possible. It also gave me a community of people who pushed me, supported me, and helped shape the person I am today.

Leaving home for Stanford was a turning point. Balancing academics and elite sport taught me to adapt quickly and expand my sense of what was possible. Racing internationally, and eventually at the Olympic Games, showed me that while performance matters, the real value lies in the perspective, resilience, and confidence you build along the way.

Today, as an Olympian, a world champion, and an MBA candidate at the University of Oxford, I’m still driven by the same things that guided me growing up: curiosity, ambition, and a genuine desire to keep learning and lift others with me.

WHO

WHEN

WHEN

WHERE

Although Zaragoza will always be my home-home, the different chapters of my life have taken me to many places and shown me firsthand how varied life can be around the world

Each place has shaped a different part of who I am.

WHERE

WHY

"Be the change that you wish to see on the world"

Gandhi

This quote is a reminder that meaningful change begins in the smallest decisions. The way you treat people, the effort you bring to your work, the standards you choose to uphold,  all of it shapes the world you help create. I try to live with that awareness. Every step I take is guided by the idea that your daily choices say more about you than any achievement ever will.

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit"

Aristotle

What began as early-morning training eventually became the framework through which I approach everything. Balancing school, sport, travel, and personal commitments taught me how to build routines that last, anticipate challenges, and create systems that keep me steady under pressure. I learned that excellence is not intensity but consistency: showing up and doing the work as best as possible, even when conditions are imperfect. That mindset shapes how I operate today, helping me stay organized, make clear decisions, and carry responsibility with intention.

"Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning"

– Gloria Steinem

I’ve always been someone who dreams boldly. Big ideas have never intimidated me; they’ve energised me. Even when I was young, I found myself imagining possibilities long before I knew how to pursue them. As I grew, I learned how to transform that instinct into action. Dreaming became less about wishing and more about creating a path towards something meaningful. Today, imagination is one of my strongest drivers. It helps me choose goals that matter, stay focused on what I want to build, and bring others with me as those ideas take shape.

WHY

NOW WHAT

In the short term, I’m completing my MBA at Oxford’s Saïd Business School and exploring summer 2026 internship opportunities that match my drive and vision. In the long term, I’m training towards LA 2028, a pursuit that mirrors the commitment, long-term planning, and disciplined execution that define how I work.
